Domestic Violence

Victims of domestic violence and abuse within relationships fortunately have a great deal of legal protection.  We have considerable experience in making application to the Court in circumstances where domestic violence and abuse has taken place.  The Court have the powers to exclude a violent or abusive partner from a home and to not allow him or her to return. The Court also have powers to ensure that violent or abusive partners are not able to harass or otherwise bother their partners and to punish them if they persist in doing so.

We are also able to assist in circumstances where other occupants of a home such as adult children or other family members act in a violent or abusive manner.
